Documentation
Definition
Causes the system to select and display only orders with missing parts in the order information system.
Use
Missing parts are components for which an availability check has determined insufficient availability.
If you select this indicator, the system only selects and issues orders with missing parts.
Dependencies
Only orders with missing parts are selected. However, the system displays all the components for these orders in the component list, even those components which are not missing parts.
To display only missing parts in the component list, you must also use Reduced Reading. See the documentationon this indicator.
This indicator integrates the missing parts information system into the order information system.
The indicator is prefilled in the SAP standard variants SAP&MPART (production orders) and SAP&MPARTPI (process orders).
Notes
In contrast to other selection criteria at operation- or component-level that can lead to long runtimes, the indicator Missing Parts is selective and leads to short response times.
If a missing parts index has not yet been compiled, see the long text for the message CO 648.
