Definition
Controls whether the overall profile is layout-based or controlled via profiles.
Use
If you select the indicator, the system uses a layout-based overall profile to display the object overview. The system displays the object overview in the SAP List Viewer. You see a structure tree and individual lists in which you can, for example, sort or filter data. Technically speaking, the structure is displayed in the ALV tree and the individual lists are displayed in the ALV Grid Control Format.
If you do not select the indicator, the way the object overview is displayed is controlled by profiles and you see the "classic" single screen object overview (SAP List Tree).
Dependencies
You can create and change layout-based overall profiles in Customizing for Shop Floor Control or the Process Order under Information System -> Define Profiles for Order Information System.
You can create and change overall profiles for the "classic" object overview using the function Overall Profiles: Order Information System.
You cannot change existing overall profiles to layout-based profiles by selecting or deselecting this indicator. Instead, you must create the overall profile again in Customizing.
