Use

This means that the selected correspondence type, together with the particular interval, is not taken into account when executing the program run for creating correspondence.

Example

If the monthly generation of a particular type of correspondence has been defined in the correspondence variant on a business partner - contract account relationship (e.g. customer to receive monthy account statements) and if the exclusion indicator has been set for the relevant periodicity (e.g. exclude monthly), then no correspondence will be created for this customer.
