Use

If you choose the setting Work Center/Hierarchy, the system shows the fields Work Center and Plant in the standard transactions for the notification. You can then enter the work center for which you want to enter the shift note in the notification.

Dependencies

• If a notification is to be shown in the shift report, you must specify a work center or hierarchy in the notification.
• For the fields with information on the origin to be shown in a notification, you must previously have set the Origin indicator in the detail data for the shift note type.

Use

With this setting, you specify whether this shift report type can be entered in work centers and hierarchies or functional locations and equipment. In doing so, you determine whether you can later generate a shift report for a work center or a functional location with this shift report type.

With this setting, you specify which shift notes are to be selected by the system:

• If you choose Work Centers/Hierarchies, the system creates a list of the shift notes you entered for work centers/hierarchies.
• If you choose Functional Location/Equipment, the system creates a list of the shift notes you entered for functional locations/equipment.

With this setting, you specify which shift reports are to be selected by the system:

• If you choose Work Centers/Hierarchies, the system creates a list of the shift reports you generated for work centers/hierarchies.
• If you choose Functional Location/Equipment, the system creates a list of the shift reports you generated for functional locations/equipment.
