Definition
Specifies how the system is to determine the evaluation period. After determining the evaluation period, the system searches in this period for shift notes created or changed within the period and for shift notes whose event period overlaps with the evaluation period.
Use
In the advanced search, you can choose between the following options:
- Relative Time Specification
If you select this option, the system shows the Start in the Past and End in the Future fields. It determines the evaluation period from these specifications.
- Relevant to Today
If you choose this option, the system selects only those shift notes that were created or changed today or whose event period overlaps with today.
- Recurring Time Period
If you choose this option, you can choose a fixed, regularly reoccurring time period such as the early shift of the last five days. In this case, the system shows the Period: Start Time and End Time fields, in which you can enter the exact clock time, as well as the Days in Past and Days in Future fields, that enable you to enter the desired days in the past and/or in the future.
- Period
If you choose this option, the system shows fields with which you can specify any evaluation period.
In the comprehensive search,. you can additionally choose the following option:
- Long Runners
Long-runners are shift notes in which the start date of the event entered already lies in the past and that have either an event end that is still open or an already-defined event end in the future.
If you choose this option, the system selects all shift notes that are long-runners. In addition, you can specify as of when a shift note is to be treated as a long-runner in the Earliest Event End in the Future field.
The system then displays the long-runners in the list. In addition, you can use the None with Open End and None with Defined End fields as filter criteria.
