Documentation

Definition

Controls whether the Shift field is visible in the role of production supervisor and whether this field contains a default value.

Use

The system can determine the shift that is to be proposed in the following ways:

  • Shift is not used means that the field is not visible in the portal.
  • No shift means that the field is visible in the portal and there is no proposed value. You have to manually choose a shift there.
  • Current shift means that the proposed shift fits in with the current local date and time.
  • Preceding shift means that the system proposes the shift that precedes the current shift.
  • Shift for planned date/time "execution end date" means that the proposed shift fits in with the planned date/time Latest scheduled end date: execution (date). If this date/time is in the future, the shift that fits in with current local date and time is chosen.

If the system finds more than one suitable shift, it does not propose a shift.

You can use the BAdI for Order Confirmation in Portal to override the shift proposal.
