Definition

Name of the variant used for selection in the order information system for production orders.

Procedure

Enter a variant name. Choose Extras -> Variant to change an existing variant or create a new one.

Dependencies

You can use the variant to show/hide the selection criteria with values.

Variant maintenance for process orders is not possible here. You should maintain these variants directly in the process order information system.

Example

If you want to select orders using relative dates you can hide the absolute dates using a variant so as to provide a better overview of the selection screen. You use the attributes of a variant to hide the dates.
