Definition
Indicator you use to specify that the value of a characteristic or variable is displayed in the PI sheet.
Procedure
Set the indicator for:
- Input values in process data requests if you want to display a target value for them in the PI sheet
- All other message characteristics if you want to display the characteristic value that was transferred to the process message
Dependencies
To be able to flag characteristics of the message category as output values, you must have set the selection indicator.
In process data calculation formulas, the value to be calculated is always displayed. Thus, the characteristic pertaining to the value is automatically flagged as an output value.
