Definition

Indicator you use to specify that the characteristic value is assigned manually in the PI sheet.

Use

In the PI sheet, the following is displayed for the message value:

• A single input field for simple data requests
• A table column for repeated data requests

Restrictions for repeated data requests:

• You can only define a maximum of 10 input values of up to 150 characters.
• Characteristics whose value is a long text can only be defined as input values in simple data requests.

Dependencies

To be able to flag messages of the message category as input values, you must have set the selection indicator.

You cannot flag variable values as input values.
