Definition

This is the estimated database size of the shell system.

The calculation works as follow:

  1. sum the size of all partly copied tables and indices of the sender system (sender size)
  2. sum the size of all partly copied tables and indices of the shell system
  3. calculate the difference of both values (= reduction size)
  4. calculate the ratio of 'reduction size' to 'sender system size'
  5. reduce the sender system database size by the above calculated ratio

Use

This size is set as database size of the shell system in the system copy tool control file.
