Definition
This field should be selected if classical scrambling needs to be activated in the TDMS 4.0 HCM package
Use
Customers who upgrade from TDMS 3.0 to TDMS 4.0 may still want to to use the TDMS 3.0 scrambling platform in TDMS 4.0 packages. This so-called classical scrambling can be activated for individual TDMS HCM packages. If classical scrambling is needed for certain TDMS HCM packages, customers need to maintain view V_CNVMBTSCOLDSOL in the control system. For the relevant packages, this field should be activated.
Dependencies
After maintaining this view, customers need to execute report CNV_TDMS_HCM_SCRAM_CLS_ACTV in the control system. In the selection screen, the corresponding TDMS HCM package needs to be specified. Afterwards, if classical scrambling was requested for this package according to view V_CNVMBTSCOLDSOL, classical scrambling is active for this package.
Once classical scrambling is activated for a certain TDMS HCM package, it is no longer possible to switch batch to TDMS 4.0 scrambling for that package.
