Definition

HR transactions are divided into different transaction classes such as:

A - HR master data (administration)

B - Applicant data

Use

The transaction class controls:

  • Definition of the database in which the data is stored.
    The same infotypes can be used for HR master and applicant data, for example, Org. Assignment, Personal Data, Addresses, but the data is stored in different tables.
    HR master and time data is stored in tables PAnnnn (nnnn = infotype number).
    Applicant data is stored in tables PBnnnn.
  • Definition of the screen header modifier in view V_T588I (Header Modifier).
    Transaction class A for master data.
    Transaction class B for applicant data.
  • Calculation of default values for
    payroll accounting areas, and
    administrator groups.
