Definition

Specifies the types of restrictions based on cluster table entries to be used for the selection of HCM object types.

The following types of cluster restrictions are available:

  • 1 - Restriction based on time management cluster table ZES: A restriction based on the existence of time types in time management cluster table ZES is specified.
    Example: Employees are to be selected who have unapproved overtime. In this case, the time type 0300 "Unapproved overtime" should exist in time management cluster table ZES for these employees. For that reason, a restriction based on the existence of time type 0300 in time management cluster table ZES needs to be specified.
  • 2 - Restriction based on time management cluster table ZL: A restriction based on the existence of wage types in time management cluster table ZL is specified.
    Example: Employees are to be selected who have Sunday night work remunerations. In this case, any one of the wage types SSN1 to SSN6 should exist in the time management cluster table ZL for these employees. For that reason, a restriction based on the existence of wage types SSN1 to SSN6 in time management cluster table ZL needs to be specified.
  • 3 - Restriction based on payroll cluster table RT: A restriction based on the existence of wage types in payroll cluster table RT is specified.
    Example: Employees are to be selected who have wage type 4711 in their payroll cluster table RT. The wage type 4711 is defined by the customer with a special meeting. For that reason, a restriction based on the existence of wage type 4711 in payroll cluster table RT needs to be specified.
