Definition

Specifies the selection limit for the HCM object types.

The following selection limits are available:

• 1- Absolute Limit: Selects the exact number of objects for all object types based on the specified selection criteria.
  Example: You have specified the absolute limit as 5. If the selection results exceed five for an object type, only five results are selected for each object type.
• 2- Percentage Limit: A certain percentage of objects are selected.
  Example: 10% of personnel numbers are requested. In this case, if 100 personnel numbers are obtained that fit all the other selection criteria, then of these 10 will be selected.
• 3 - Minimum Limit for Object Type: If the object has less than this minimum number of dependent objects, then the object is not selected.
  Example: 5 positions are requested as a minimum per organizational unit. In this case an organizational unit with only 3 positions will not be selected.
• 4 - Maximum Limit for Object Type: At most the specified number of objects are selected with a relationship to the dependent object.
  Example: 5 positions are requested per organizational unit. In this case, for each organizationalunit, at most 5 positions will be selected
• 5 - Percentage Limit for Object Type: A certain percentage of objects are selected with a relationship to the dependent object.
  Example: 50% of positions are requested per organizational unit. In this case, for each organizationalunit, 50% of their positions are selected. Therefore, if an organizational unit has 4 positions, then two of these positions are selected. If an organizational unit has 8 positons, then four of these positions are selected.
