Definition
The vendor's reference number appears in the delivery note's external identification.
When you create an inbound delivery manually or when the vendor creates a notification (per EDI), the external identification number can have a maximum of 35 characters.
Please note:
Only 16 reference characters are used for invoice verification. Therefore, we recommend that you use no more than 16 characters in the external identification number.
