Documentation
Definition
The value in this field defines the intervals (in months) at which the account participates in automatic interest calculation (account balance interest calculation). The interest calculation frequency is added to the date of the last interest calculation.
Examples
Date of last interest calculation: 31 March
+ 01 month interest calculation frequency
= 30 April as upper limit for the current interest calculation run
Dependencies
The calculation period that is specified as a report parameter defines if a given account will participate in the next interest calculation run or not. If the calculated upper limit for the current interest calculation run is higher than the calculation period specified by the report parameter, the account will not participate in interest calculation. If the calculated upper limit lies before the calculation period specified by the report parameter, the account will participate in interest calculation with an interest calculation frequency.
Note
If the interest calculation frequency is defined in the master record for the account, the interest calculation frequency specified here in the general conditions (account balance interest calculation) does not have any significance.
