Diagnosis
With a COPY scenario, the source chart of accounts remains unchanged in the system, while the target chart of accounts is created and changed.
To this purpose, all tables in which the chart of accounts as well as sets (SETHEADER, SETHEADERT, SETLEAF, SETLINET, SETNODE RWSHEADER, RWSLINE) occur in the key need to be copied (and the entries for the target chart of accounts need to be changed).
These sets can be used in
- Reporting (Report Painter, Report Writer)
- Allocations (assessment, distribution, ...)
However due to the complexity of reports and allocations it is not possible to re-create them automatically using the copied sets.
System Response
For these reasons, all tables in which sets are used (except the a. m. set definition tables) are not converted in a COPY scenario (NOTUSE = X), and the option Reports (source chart of accounts) is selected by default. .
Procedure
If you want to convert these tables anyway, select the option Reports (target chart of accounts).
Further notes
Please note that if you convert the tables you can no longer use the reports that are based on the old chart of accounts data.
