Definition
A multiple path defines an abstract relationship between two determination objects. Unlike an elementary relationship, this does not have to be a direct relationship.
A multiple path consists of a defined sequence of n (n>0) determination or alternative paths with the same source and target determination object. If the first alternative path does not lead to the desired result, the next alternative path is processed, and so forth.
