If there are multiple determination paths with the same source and target determination object, it is no longer possible to find out from which of these determination paths the relationships were loaded into the object tables. This applies in particular to the object numbers. To enable incremental loading at the time of the conversion anyway, the system stores the object type information in an additional key field in the object tables. (To save space, the object numbers are stored without the object type in the field for the source or target determination value).
For determination paths that do not contain object numbers, but still have the same combinations of source and target determination objects, this field is only for discrimination purposes. You can choose any value for the object type (other than for the object numbers).
