Definition

For each entry, "Analyze Tables and Fields for Org. Units" calculates the filling percentage for the field to be converted and the corresponding determination object. (Depending on the analysis type, the "determination object" may be either the source determination object or the target determination object.)
Entries for which the 'do not analyze' indicator is set are excluded from the analysis.

Notes

For tables for which experience has shown that the determination object is always filled, you should set this indicator to avoid long runtimes of "Analyze Tables and Fields for Org. Units".

Example

For the table BSEG, the system normally uses the source field BUKRS for determination purposes. It is obvious that this field is always filled and that consequently an analysis does not make sense.
With regard to the fact that the table BSEG is a cluster table and usually has a huge number of entries, "Analyze Tables and Fields for Org. Units" normally takes quite long.

Further notes

As a rule, the indicator is relevant only regarding exclusion from the analysis of the filling percentage.
If the package parameter DT_EXCLUDE_IRRELEVANT_OBART_GLOBAL is set (default setting), excluded entries that do determination based on an object number are still analyzed with regard to the number of occurrences of different object types.
