Documentation
Definition
To facilitate partial loading of relationship data, you first need to divide this data into blocks. The number of blocks defines into how many blocks you want to divide the relevant amount of data.
Notes
Alternatively, you can define the division by specifying the block size.
Further notes
- When loading a block, the system has to make sure to load all target determination values that are assigned to a given source determination value. This is why the number of entries in some blocks may be higher than in others.
- If the relationship data is stored in the cluster, each block limit must coincide with a cluster block limit. In this case, it is usually not possible to distribute the data evenly across the blocks, which means that the last block usually contains fewer entries than the others.
