Documentation
Definition
The relationships between determination values as defined in the determination paths are stored in the object tables for later use.
The short description specifies the object table in which the data of a given determination path is stored in the database. Depending on the length of the related source determination objects and target determination objects, the smallest possible object table is used. To simplify matters, the descriptions were defined in analogy to dress sizes. The following short descriptions for object tables exist:
- L_S: small object table for simple relationships
- L_M: medium-sized object table for simple relationships
- L_L: large object table for simple relationships
- L_X: extra-large object table for simple relationships
- R_S: small object table for interval relationships
- R_M: medium-sized object table for interval relationships
- R_L: large object table for interval relationships
- R_X: extra-large object table for interval relationships
- CLU: Cluster table for any relationships and any width
Notes
- The term simple relationship refers to 1:1 relationships between source and target values.
- The term interval relationships refers to 1:1 relationships between source value intervals and target values.
- The actual name of an object table is a combination of CNV_10020_ and the appropriate short description in which the first letter of the short description is replaced either with LOR (for L) or ROR (for R). The cluster table is called CNV_10020_CLUSTER.
