Documentation
Definition
The maximum cardinality is the highest cardinality that is theoretically possible for a given determination path.
Notes
- To find out about the maximum cardinality, choose 'Suggest maximum cardinality' in the maintenance view for the determination path. Use a lower value for the cardinality only if you are absolutely sure that this is correct.
- For 1:N and N:M cardinality, a source determination value may have more than one target determination value assigned. This requires multiple access to the object tables. For 1:1 and N:1 cardinality, only a single access is required (and actually executed).
