Documentation
Definition
An evaluation rule decides at which offset a specific component is located in a non-transparent field.
Note that the rule is independent of the component and even of the non-transparent field. The dependency is created by assigning the rule to a specific component of a specific non-transparent field. So one rule can be used for different components of multiple non-transparent fields.
Example
For object type 'KS' the component "Controlling area" is located at offset 2 in a non-transparent field.
The rule is assigned to the component KOKRS of the non-transparent field OBJNR.
Notes
You can assign evaluation rules to components of non-transparent fields in activity "Edit Settings for Non-transparent Fields" (transaction CNV_10020_RCOMP).
