Definition

Determines that reservations are active as requirements in material requirements planning. For externally-procured components, purchase requisitions can be generated in Sales and Distribution from the network, if required.

Components that are not relevant to material requirements planning are only used for planning the components and their costs in the network.

Use

When compoments are being selected, the indicator "relevant for requirements" is accessed. Components that are:

  • Relevant to MRP or
  • Not relevant to MRP or
  • Both relevant to MRP and not relevant to MRP

can be selected.
