Setting for the check sum check when importing XML data to the standard XStep repository.
Use
You can export the data of SXS objects, (folders, standard XStep, or version) and import it into another system. You can use the check sum check to establish whether the data was changed during the export.
The check sum check must be activated in the source and destination systems.
if the check sum of the data differs between the source and destination systems, you can specify whether the system is to issue an information, warning, or error message. If you make no such specification, the check sum check is not active.
- Information or warning message:
The XML import is carried out and a message is issued in accordance with the message category.
- Error message
The XML import is not carried out. An error message is issued.
