Definition

Specifies the condition under which the process message is to be created automatically. You can choose from the following start conditions:

  • Start not Allowed
    The function for this variant must not be started.
  • Manual Individual Start
    When the function is started, the system automatically creates the process message once. After that, the variant status is set back to Stopped.
  • Periodic Start
    With this condition, you must also enter the time intervals at which the process messages are to be created automatically.
  • Event-Driven Start
    With this condition, you must also enter a manufacturing event. Once this event occurs, the system automatically creates a process message.

    Manufacturing events are provided via the Manufacturing Data Access interface by the services connected to it. Addresses are used to access events. They start with the name of the service providing the event. You can use the value help to select events.
