Documentation
Definition
Specifies a unique identifier for a relationship group.
Use
Each relationship group is a set of collateral agreement types grouped together. Therefore, you can maintain similar relationships for these groups of collateral agreements.
For example, you need to define relationships with guarantee types as the source objects. You can group all guarantee types to form a source relationship group.
To use relationship groups, you must assign them to relationship types and collateral agreement types. These assignments determine if a relationship is possible between two collateral agreements.
Dependencies
You define relationship groups in the Implementation Guide (IMG) under Define Relationship Groups. Additionally, maintain the following assignments in the IMG:
Relationship types to relationship groups under Assign Relationship Types to Relationship Groups.
Collateral agreement types to relationship groups under Assign Collateral Agreement Types to Relationship Groups.
Example
Some examples of relationship groups are Source 2 (All Non Collateral Rights) and Destination 1 (All real estate lien).
