Definition

Number that identifies a grouping.

Use

You can create and select shift sequences and shift definitions for special areas (for example, different plants or different areas within a plant) with the help of a grouping.

Groupings 51 to 99 are to be set aside for Logistics, groupings 1 to 50 for personnel management.

Dependencies

If you have entered a grouping, only those shift sequences and shift definitions will be brought up for available capacity maintenance that have been assigned to that particular grouping in Customizing.

If you haven't entered a grouping, the system will bring up the shift sequences and shift definitions that have been maintained for grouping 1.
