Definition
This setting defines if and how IDocs should be sent to an external system after their creation by POI. It is only effective if the output mode 'Collect IDoc' is used in the partner profile for the logical system instead of 'Transfer IDoc immeiately'.
If no value is selected, the default setting is used.
You have the following options:
'S' (Standard mode)
Standard mode is the default value, and it means IDocs created by POI are sent with standard ALE functionality.
'M' (Mass processing)
Mass processing is a special functionality which increases efficiency when sending large amounts of IDocs.
This mode can only be used if all IDocs in one download (either master or transaction data) have the same port in the ALE partner profile. The port used for the IDocs in the master data download can differ from the one used in the transaction data download.
If there are IDocs with differing ports within the same POI download, 'Standard' processing mode is used automatically.
'C' (Create)
In this mode IDocs are created but not sent automatically. Transmission requires manual processing.
