Definition
The Send Notifications field presents the alternatives that can be chosen for sending SAP NetWeaver Gateway notifications to a collaboration platform.
Use
The field is used in the following Customizing views:
- CLBV_GW_NOTIFY_S (entries delivered by SAP)
- CLBV_GW_NOTIFY_C (customer-specific settings)
If no entry can be found in either table, the notification will not be sent.
If an entry exists, the system behavior depends on the Send Notifications field. The following values are possible:
- No Notifications
- All Notifications
- Only Notifications without a Delivery Address.
The delivery address is defined in the Gateway subscriptions but also part of the notification.
Dependencies
The field is evaluated only in an SAP NetWeaver Gateway system, and only if the Send Notifications scenario is actively used.
A further dependency exists with view field CLBV_PLATF-SEND_NOTIF: As a prerequisite, a target server of the given service provider has this indicator switched on.
