Definition

A Service Provider Method is an API method that is provided by a collaborating platform or service provider.

Use

If an API method of a remote service provider is also represented by a consuming ABAP method of the on-premise system, the ABAP method must be registered at table CLBC_PTYPE_METH.

Dependencies

API methods may have different versions that need to be processed differently.
This is reflected in different Customizing settings for the different versions (table CLBC_PTYP_VERS).
