Definition

This identifier allows the Social Media ABAP Integration Library to distinguish between different target platforms (aka servers) for a given platform type (such as "SAPJam").

Use

For productive use, you only have one target platform, for instance https://www.cubetree.com but other sandbox or test platforms may be connected before going live. This option will mostly be used internally by SAP for testing new versions of the Service Provider API methods before going live.

There are many settings that are common to all platforms of a type, but there are also some differences that are reflected in different Customizing settings in the CLBC_PLATF* tables.
