Definition
The Append fields function allows you to select a special maintenance mode in which:
- You can add fields to the end of the table
- No further changes may be made to the table
As a result, only display functions are allowed for active fields in the table.
Reasons for the change:
- To support customer modifications
- Data conversion is no longer necessary
