Documentation
Definition
Quantity relating to the BOM quantities.
Use
To begin with, the quantity is set as the quantity of multilevel receipts in the period. You can then manually change this value to a different amount (for example, the price unit).
Dependencies
If you set this value to be a smaller value, rounding inconsistencies may occur at lower input quantity levels. These inconsistencies remain even if you then change the amount to a higher quantity.
Example
To begin with, the System shows that 3 Pcs of a raw material are used for the production of 1135 pieces of a finished product. If you then set the reference quantity to 1 Pc of the finished product, the raw material quantity will be rounded to 0 Pcs, if you then increated the quantity to 1000 Pcs the raw material quantity remains at 0 Pcs.
You can remove these inconsistencies by reselecting the BOM information.
