Used in material costing with a quantity structure:
When costing, this controls if and how mixed costing is performed.
You use the quantity structure type to determine which procurement alternatives will be used with what mixing ratio for the materials involved in the costing. Therefore, it determines for how long the mixing ratios are valid.
