Documentation
Definition
This indicator includes plant master data for your plants in your model that corresponds to the selection criteria entered for plants in the section General Selection Options for Materials. These plants are represented as locations in SAP APO.
Dependencies
- Note, that for locations in SAP APO the information for time zone is essential. To successfully transfer the plant master data a time zone must be able to be determined for the plant. This usually occurs by assigning a plant to a country and, if necessary, a region. From SAP R/3 4.5B, address data is also transferred to SAP APO so that the time zone can be determined and assigned on the basis of the address. However, this is only possible if the data has been correctly maintained.
- If you are working with SAP R/3 4.0B or higher you can also set a plant as a distribution center. In this case, the location is assigned category 1002 in SAP APO, which corresponds to a distribution center.
