Definition
This indicator includes all production versions in your model that correspond to the selection options entered.
For each production version a production data structure (PDS) is generated in SAP APO. For this, the combination of routing and BOM from the production version is mapped in a production data structure in SAP APO.
Dependencies
- The end product of the production version must be contained in an active integration model for materials.
- Only those routing operations are transferred to SAP APO for which work centers exist in SAP APO.
- Only those components of a BOM are transferred to SAP APO that are contained in an active integration model for materials.
- If the BOM contains phantom assemblies these must also be contained in an active integration model for material BOMs.
Note
The selection options listed under Production Data Structure are interpreted as additional restrictions to the selection options given under General Selection Options for Materials.
If you work with a DIMP system and you want to transfer iPPE data to an SAP APO system, you must set the indicator PDS (iPPE) in the group box Material-Independent Objects and enter the relevant data there.
