Definition
This indicator activates the transfer of promotion consumption quantities to SAP APO.
Use
The data transfer takes into account:
- Planned sales quantities of the promotion that are entered at the plant/material level.
- Historical data for the promotion that is stored in the information system.
In SAP APO the VMI interface is used to update the promotion consumption values. To update the data in InfoCubes you have to manually create planning object characteristics in SAP APO.
To transfer historical data you have to enter a selection variant for the application area in Customizing.
Dependencies
You can only use this scenario if you have implemented SAP Retail.
Only an initial data supply is intended.
