Definition
This indicator includes all production versions in your model that correspond to the selection options entered.
For each production version, a production process model (PPM) is created in SAP APO. For this, the combination of routing/recipe and BOM from the production version is mapped in a production process model in SAP APO.
Dependencies
- The end product of the production version must be contained in an active integration model for materials.
- Only those operations of a routing/recipe are transferred to SAP APO whose work centers are contained in an active integration model for work centers. If no operations/phases relevant to SAP APO are contained in a routing/recipe, a PPM will not be generated in SAP APO for this production version.
- Only those components of a BOM are transferred to APO that are contained in an active integration model for materials.
Note
The selection options listed under Production Process Model are interpreted as additional restrictions to the entries made under Relevant Materials.
It is recommended that you create your own integration models for production process models. A consistency check should be carried out when generating an integration model for production process models. This provides a detailed list of which operations/phases and which BOM components will be filtered out of an activation because they are not relevant to APO. In this case, the integration models for work centers and materials must be activated before the integration model for production process models is generated.
