Use
You use this indicator to include MRP areas for plants in your integration model that meet the selection criteria entered for plants under General Selection Options for Materials. The MRP areas are mapped in SAP APO as locations with the type MRP area (type 1007).
The location in SAP APO receives the time zone of the plant to which the MRP area belongs in the ERP system.
In the ERP system, an address can be defined for the storage location of the MRP area. If a storage location address exists, this is transferred to the location in SAP APO. If a storage location address is not defined, the location in SAP APO receives the address of the plant to which the MRP area belongs.
The following restrictions apply to the transfer of MRP areas:
- Only MRP areas with the MRP area type Storage Location are transferred.
- Only MRP areas with a maximum of one storage location are transferred to SAP APO. MRP areas with several storage locations are not transferred and lead to an error message.
Dependencies
The plants to which these MRP areas belong also have to be transferred to SAP APO.
