Documentation
Definition
Specifies the unit of measure that the logistics processes in EWM use as the underlying unit of measure, deviating from the base unit of measure in which the stock valuation is performed in ERP.
Use
You cannot enter the unit of measure directly.
Dependencies
This attribute is set by the system, if a unit of measure is marked as a parallel unit of measure (attribute "Category of Parallel Unit of Measure for Catch Weight") in the additional data screen "Units of Measure" in the material master.
This attribute can only be assigned when a material is created. A subsequent change (after saving the new material) is not possible in general or in the SAP standard system. Cross-system checks would be required to do this. These can be added on a project basis without modification. For more information, see the Implementation Guide (IMG) under Extended Warehouse Management -> Integration -> Cross-Process Settings -> Master Data -> BAdI: Check Changes Made to Units of Measure.
