Definition

Gives the number of the object for which a postprocessing record was created. If you have not yet processed the postprocessing record, no data for this object will yet have been processed in the target system.

An object number can be an order, purchase order, or campaign number, for example.

If the object has not previously been transferred from SAP APO to the ERP system, or if the ERP order number is not yet known in SAP APO, the SAP APO order number that was assigned at creation in SAP APO may be entered here.

Depending on the ERP object type or APO order type, this value may be initial (blank). In this case, the object can generally be identified by other values as follows:

  • Stocks do not have an order number but they can be identified using the material/plant combination (product/location) among other things.
  • Reservations can be identified using the internal schedule line number and the internal item number.
