Definition
You can use this input field to control the display of indicators for the configuration relevance of products when activating an integration model.
There are the following options:
- If you do not specify anything, the indicators are not displayed when an integration model is activated.
- If you specify that entering default values for configuration relevance is optional, you get three indicators when activating the integration model that you can use to specify:
- That the default setting in Customizing for SAP APO is valid for the configuration relevance of products
- That the products are relevant to CDP
- That the products are relevant to variant configuration
- If you specify that a default value must be entered for configuration relevance, you must specify when activating the integration model whether or not the products are relevant to CDP or to variant configuration. A default value from Customizing for SAP APO cannot be used.
This means that false data is not supplied for the products by mistake from Customizing for SAP APO.
Note
The indicators are only relevant if the configuration relevance is defined in SAP APO on a product-dependent basis. Only then can you specify for individual products whether they are relevant to CDP or to variant configuration. Otherwise the setting CDP or Variant Configuration is valid for all clients.
Make the settings for configuration relevance in SAP APO in Customizing under Advanced Planning and Optimization -> Basis Settings -> Define Configuration Relevance (CDP or Variant Configuration).
