Definition
This indicator is used to control whether the residence time check should be performed based on the creation date or the change date of the billing document.
Use
Set this indicator is you want the system to use the change date and not the creation date of the billing document when it performs the residence time check. A billing document can only be archived once residence time defined in Customizing has passed after the last change. The indicator has no effect on the residence time check for subsequent documents in the document flow.
Dependencies
Example
A billing document was created on 01.01.2000. The residence time is 365 days. On 01.02.2001 the document can be archived, once the residence time has passed. However, if the document was changed, for example, on 07.01.2000 using transaction VF02, then the document cannot be archived because the indicator has been set. If the indicator was not set, the document would be archived.
