Definition
Determines whether an archiving object participates in the cross- archiving-object check program or not.
Use
The cross-archiving-object check program checks all archiving objects marked with the indicator ("X"). In addition, it periodically reads a corresponding control table and checks, which archiving objects are still active.
The preselection module of the check program bases its selection of the data objects to be checked on the values specified in the variant, and on the residence times and the resubmission date. You can determine the variant values in the cross-archiving-object customizing.
Note: To properly terminate a check program that is running in the background, you must deactivate all active archiving objects, by removing this indicator. However, it is not possible to set the indicator for an archiving object, during runtime.
