The dependent fields for a characteristic reflect the links to other characteristics.
Examples:
- In table T001L (storage loc.), the field LGORT (storage loc.) depends on field WERKS (plant). These are therefore compound characteristics. This link for field LGORT is set by the sequence (WERKS - LGORT).
- The link for cost center KOSTL (table CSKS) is set by sequence (KOKRS - KOSTL - DATBI) (controlling area - cost center - valid to date).
