Definition
A key figure of a reference to a table with a currency or quantity unit field is assigned to the reference field, which must have a characteristic in the data structure. The key figure belonging to the currency or quantity unit is then determined using the value of the reference field (=characteristic value).
Example:
A data structure contains the characteristic COMCOD (Company code) with check table T001, which contains the field CURR (Currency) in the data part and a key figure HB1_FI of type "amount".
If HB1_FI is assigned to the refernce field COMCOD, this key figure will always carry the company code currency, meaning that HB1_FI is assigned to an unequivolent currency in each data record, using the value of the field COMCOD and the table T001.
