Use
If you set this indicator, the system displays superfluous update counters for the selected object types in a list but does not delete them.
Update counters are table entries for the cross-system update logic that count change statuses sequentially in the ERP system for certain object types; for example, for manufacturing orders. If cross-system update logic is active, the system assigns a higher priority to changes in the ERP system (execution system) than to parallel changes in SAP APO (planning system). The update counter is transferred to SAP APO along with the relevant object. It prevents the current change status of the object in the ERP system being overwritten by a status from SAP APO that is obsolete from an ERP point of view.
