Definition

Controls that the preferred production versions are released for material requirements planning.

Use

If you want to release the selected production versions, choose the radio button Release Preferred Production Versions in the report Automated Release or Locking of Production Versions for MRP(CFB_PV_MRP_RELEASE_LOCK). The report determines the preferred production versions for all the production versions that fulfill the selection criteria and releases them so they can be used in material requirements planning. The report locks all the other production versions. Material requirements planning can only create procurement proposals for the released production versions.
